Specialist Coatings are used where engineering products require specific surface properties to operate successfully in a difficult situation or environment.

Xylan coatings provide lubrication and controlled friction, wear resistance, heat resistance, non-stick and release properties and, at the same time, can also protect from corrosion. Xylan coatings solve the problems created when the ideal material for use in engineering construction has the wrong surface properties.

PTFE and Teflon non-stick coatings have the highest operating temperature of any fluoropolymer, extremely low coefficient of friction, good abrasion resistance, and good chemical resistance.

Molybdenum coatings are commonly used in applications where load carrying capacity, operating temperature and coefficient of friction are primary concerns. This coating provides effective lubrication in a wide range of loads. Molybdenum coatings lubricate sacrificially by transferring lubricant between the two mating surfaces, which helps to reduce the wear and the coefficient of friction.

Everlube, Everslik and Dry-Lube are solid/dry film lubricants. These thermally cured solid film lubricants are designed to lower the coefficient of friction, provide excellent abrasion resistance, very good chemical resistance, and good wear life.
